Install
Click Download for Mac above. The file is a standard Mac disk image (a .dmg).
Double-click the downloaded file in your Downloads folder.
Drag ReelEditor onto the Applications folder in the window that opens.
Open it from Applications or Launchpad. The first time, macOS asks to confirm that you want to open it.

ReelEditor installs Claude Code for you (nothing else to install), then opens a window to sign in with your Claude account, once. No Claude plan? Paste an Anthropic API key instead. Then add your first clips.
Bought here on the website? After paying, click Open ReelEditor on the thank-you screen and it activates itself. On another Mac, choose Already bought? Enter your key and paste the key from your receipt email.
Can't find it? Write to support@reeleditor.ai from the address you bought with.
ReelEditor is signed and notarized by Apple, so this shouldn't happen. If it does, open Applications in Finder, right-click ReelEditor, choose Open, and confirm. You only need to do this once.
This build is for Macs with Apple silicon on macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later. To check your Mac, open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac.

ReelEditor needs your own Claude account on a Pro or Max plan, or an Anthropic API key. Setup installs Claude Code and opens a Terminal window for the sign-in: finish signing in there and the setup page updates by itself. If setup still fails, write to support@reeleditor.ai and tell us which step.
